To start with it might be a good idea to explain ‘why’ we are, rather than ‘what’ we are. Ruck began as an idea sat in a back garden sipping cider on a hot day in May as a potential solution to a problem which was identified. That problem was the somewhat extortionate prices of the current ‘football casual’ style of clothing. For too long me and my friend were paying over the odds for a basic t-shirt with a simple logo on it and sometimes we would pay hundreds of pounds just for a jacket. To overcome this we needed to come up with our own designs similar to the current styles and use our own ideas to create a more affordable brand to be wearing on the football terraces.

And so Ruck was born.

We share the ideology that clothes should be affordable as well as presentable and fashionable so the work begun to create our first design. Within minutes our first t-shirt was complete, a rather plain design with a simple logo which we created and the slogan ‘What else you gunna do on a Saturday…..’ sat above it. As simple as this sounds it looked good and I should know because I didn’t just help design it I also had it made too! With this first t-shirt complete, the ‘Ruck Original’, more complex and relevant ideas came to mind and so we worked again night and day to come up with something unique yet simple and something nobody else has. Now we have a small catalogue of designs available on a website and a few orders have been met and completed already through our website http://www.ruckclothing.co.uk

Then came the promotion, as soon as an accumulated total of 10 orders have been placed by a customer any t-shirt on the website becomes absolutely free for them to choose. We have made a promise to always keep prices low yet still competitive and to do our best to deliver innovative designs at every available opportunity. 

Ruck has not been operational for a long time but we do hope to keep going for years to come as an established brand with our promise intact.
